Terms & Conditions

The terms on which we provide building and roofing services.

These terms and conditions ("Terms") apply to all work carried out and quotations provided by Cover It Building Ltd ("we", "us", "our") for the customer ("you"). By accepting a quotation or engaging us to carry out work, you agree to these Terms.

1. About us

Cover It Building Ltd is a company registered in England & Wales under company number 17313027. Our registered office is 1 Fishers Close, Staplehurst, Tonbridge, England, TN12 0DB. You can contact us on 01580 493807 or at sean@coveritbuilding.co.uk.

2. Quotations & estimates

3. Acceptance & contract

A binding contract is formed when you accept our quotation in writing (including by email or text) or ask us to begin work. For larger projects we may ask for acceptance of a written schedule of works.

4. Prices & payment

5. Variations & additional work

Any changes to the agreed works, or additional work found to be necessary once work has started, will be discussed with you and may affect the price and timescale. We will seek your agreement before carrying out chargeable additional work wherever practicable.

6. Access & site conditions

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the property and, where required, a supply of water and electricity. Delays caused by lack of access or by third parties may affect the timescale and cost.

7. Timescales

Any dates given for the start or completion of work are estimates. We are not liable for delays caused by weather, supply of materials, or other matters beyond our reasonable control.

8. Workmanship & guarantees

9. Materials

Where specific materials are unavailable we may substitute materials of equivalent quality. Natural materials may vary in colour and finish.

10. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our total liability arising out of any contract is limited to the price of the work carried out. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

11. Insurance

We maintain public liability insurance. Details are available on request.

12. Cancellation

Where you are a consumer and the contract is made away from our business premises, you have the right to cancel within 14 days. If you ask us to begin work within that period, you may be charged for work done up to the point of cancellation.

13. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any aspect of our work, please contact us on 01580 493807 or at sean@coveritbuilding.co.uk and we will do our best to put things right promptly.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of England & Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.

These terms are provided in good faith as a general framework. Specific projects may be subject to an individual written agreement, which will take precedence where it conflicts with these Terms.
